Croatia is a fantastic location for sailing with family & friends. The sea state is very often calm and the deep waters make it a very safe environment. The catamaran that we chartered from was more than comfortable to accommodate 4 adults and 2 small children, however the condition of the boat was a little bit tired when compared to other similar cats that we saw out on the water. Our skipper, Pero, was absolutely fantastic and brilliant with our children. This was a real highlight for us. We will be returning again, but will probably look to spend a bit more on a more modern catamaran to ensure we have the luxury that we want when on holiday. The office at Dubrovnik marina was a little tricky to find to begin with but that was a minor issue. All round fantastic week sailing.

Our boat, despite being a 2013 Lagoon 450 and therefore 9 years old, was in good condition and we received very good service from the attentive local staff in Dubrovnik. They responded quickly to the few items we identified during the check-in process (low oil & transmission fluid in one engine & only 1 fire extinguisher aboard). During the cruise we didn't have any problems except the onboard WiFi kept going out (we contacted AYC staff and they were able to get it running again 1 time). We would recommend anyone chartering this boat to bring 12V cigarette lighter inverters, because running the main engines doesn't provide power to the electrical outlets. We could only use the electrical outlets to charge our phones when the generator was running or when connected to shore power.

We booked a Lagoon 450 with Global Sailor from Dubrovnik. Local operator were excellent - a very fast and efficient check in meant we were sailing by 5pm. The boat was beautiful - spacious, nicely finished, we liked the 2 fridges and the options to eat inside or out. There was plenty of seating around the boat so it never felt crowded. Bedrooms and bathrooms were finished to a high standard with plenty of storage and a nice shower in the bathroom. Everything on the boat worked perfectly - we could not fault it! And of course of skipper was amazing! Thank you Miro for an incredible week. We will be back!

I have sailed with many different boats and this is the best one I have found so far. The space is incredibly well used and it never felt crampt for the 10 of us plus 2 crew. The moveble wall at the back makes a huge difference to be able to use the dining table no matter the weather, The front of the boat has a fantastic space for sunbathing, reading etc.. A lot more practical than the nets that catamarans usually have. I recommend this boat with no hesitation. The crew were fantastic, both Skipper and Hostess, they made the trip unforgetable.

Kroatien wurde seinem Ruf als grossartiges Segelrevier absolut gerecht. Anfang Oktober klimatisch sehr angenehm und bei weitem nicht so überlaufen wie es vom Sommer beschrieben wird. Friedliche Ankerplätze zu finden war einfach. Am Boot gab es nichts zu meckern, alles funktionierte (Problem mit dem Außenbordmotor wurde schnell und unkompliziert in einer ca 1h Autofahrt entfernten Marina behoben). Alles sauber. Ein Missverständnis mit dem Skipper drohte anfangs den Törn etwas schwierig zu gestalten aber die Gemüter beruhigten sich rasch. Das Team vor Ort war hilfreich, alles was organisiert wurde hat auch zuverlässig geklappt. Sehr gern wieder.
