The boat was clean and well prepared. The Charter company staff were friendly and helpful. No problems except that the outboard they gave us for the tender was a four stroke and it had been filled with two-stroke mix so only ran for about 30 seconds before it choked. Irritating at the time, but we berthed in a marina each night so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. On the plus side, they arranged marina berths in advance for us and a taxi to take us to the airport at 4am. The coast of Malta isn't the best in terms of pretty coves to moor up in or quaint quay side restaurants and bars, but the Kalkara marina in Valetta is surrounded by historic fortifications and provides a very pleasant backdrop.
